The clarification-flocculation technology is the main process to treat water including high quantity of suspended solids and other polluting agents, which obstruct other down stream plants operation. Applications have been successfully tested since long and a lot has been invested in researching new chemicals to dose.

SCOPE OF THE TREATMENT:

  • Removal of organic matter turbidity and colloidal silica included in surface waters (rivers, lakes and sea)
  • Reduction of iron and manganese contents and other heavy metals.
  • Lime softening.

The process involves dosing suitable chemicals, which are chosen according to the chemical and physical features of the water to treat, on the base of laboratory or site tests.

APPLICATIONS:

To treat surface water and make it drinkable, as well as for industrial uses.

  • Circular symmetry or longitudinal flushing accelerated clari-flocculators with movable bridge, including sludge recycling.
  • Carbon steel or reinforced concrete external case

CAPACITY:

  • Hourly flow rate: 20 to 5000 m³/h
