Filtration is either directly or indirectly involved in water treatment, being in some cases the only treatment needed or the first stage of a more complex system.

SCOPE OF THE TREATMENT:

  • Removal of suspended matters, together with organical matters turbidity, by filtartion through quartzite, anthracite or activated carbon beds.
  • Reduction of iron and manganese contents by zeolite or activated pyrolusite.
  • Removal of pesticides and chlorine derivative in drinkable water by means of activated carbons.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Water treatment for civil and industrial use.
  • Pre-treatment in ion exchange or reverse osmosis installations.
  • Refining clarified water streaming from clarification-flocculation stations.
