| Reverse osmosis has been
a well-known technology since long, allowing reducing operation costs dramatically in
water demineralization. Actually thanks to membranes improvement, plant energy consumption
is continuously decreasing, as well as chemicals dosing.
It is also important to emphasise that the waste water
discharged is non-polluting and its quality is in accordance with the parameters set by
law.
Reverse osmosis on brackish water allows saving up to 50
times on operational costs as regards the traditional ion exchange plants.
SCOPE OF THE TRATMENT:
- Reduction of dissolved salts in water either for human use or
for industry.
- Reduction of nitrates concentration in drinkable water
- Removal of bacteria in water for pharmaceutical preparations.
APPLICATION:
- Seawater desalination for civil use.
- Partial demineralising of feedwater for low pressure boilers.
- Partial demineralising to feed ion exchange plants.
- Water preparations for electronics
- Waste water recycling after discharging a sewage plant
TIPOLOGY:
- Mobile standard installations: 50 to 500 m³/day
- Fixed standard installations: 50 to 5000m³/day brackish
- Fixed standard installations: 2 to 15 m³/h seawater
- Customised installations for major flow rates.
- Single treatment plants.
- Double treatments plants.
- RO plants with energy recovery turbine
